Basic Esperanto L13

A: Sub la ŝranko. 

B: Mi dankas vin. 

A: Ne dankinde. 

B: Mi tre ŝatas tiun ĉi plumon, kvankam ĝi estas malnova. 

A: Kial?  

B: Ĉar mia patro donacis ĝin al mi antaŭ dek jaroj. 

A: Antaŭ dek jaroj?  

B: Jes. Antaŭ dek jaroj mi komencis lerni en universitato. Mia patro donis al mi la plumon kaj diris: "Nun vi jam fariĝis studento. Mi gratulas vin." 

A: Whose pen is this?

B: Hey, it is my pen. I lost it yesterday. I looked for it everywhere, but I did not find it anywhere. Where did you see it?

A: Under the cupboard.

B: Thank you.

A: Not at all.

B: I like this pen very much, although it is old.

A: Why?

B: Because my father sent it to me 10 years ago.

A: 10 years ago?

B: Yes. 10 years ago I began to study in the college. My father gave me the pen and said: “Now you become a college student. Congratulations!”
